Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Injoker is a small game made by an independent developer ("we", contact below). This policy explains what happens to information when you play Injoker on Android (the app net.relifes.injoker on Google Play) or in a web browser (injoker.relifes.net).

The short version

Android app

The Android app requests no permissions. It stores a few things on your device only, in the app's private storage:

We cannot see this data. Unless you use the global leaderboards described next, it never leaves your device.

Global leaderboards (Android, optional)

From version 1.7.0 the Android app can show global leaderboards through Google Play Games. This is optional: the whole game works without signing in, and a player who is not signed in is not ranked globally and sends nothing.

Web version

In a browser the same data is kept in the browser's local storage on your device.

The game page also shows a visitor counter. The first time a browser opens it, it sends one anonymous request to a free counting service (abacus.jasoncameron.dev) to add one visit; no name, account or identifier from the game is sent. The pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any website, these services receive the technical details of each request (such as your IP address) as part of normal internet traffic; Injoker does not collect or keep them. See the GitHub privacy statement for GitHub Pages.

Website (home page, guide, leaderboard)

The pages around the game (the home page, the guide and the leaderboard) set no cookies and load their fonts and images from our own site.

World ranking (web version, optional)

The LEADERBOARD screen of the web version has a WORLD RANKING button. The first time you open it, the game asks for a name (2 to 12 letters, digits or spaces; it does not have to be your real name). Only after you have typed one, the result of each run you finish is sent to our leaderboard server, together with: that name, the board (PLAY or SURVIVAL), the score, the length of the run and the time it was sent. Your best results from this device are sent once when you set the name.

The server also stores a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, only to limit how many results one player can send in an hour; the address itself is not stored. No account, e-mail address, device identifier or location is collected. The server runs on Cloudflare (Workers and D1), which receives the technical details of each request as part of normal internet traffic.

The names and scores are public: anyone can see the ten best of each board. Results are kept until we remove them; a name that is offensive or impersonates someone is removed.

Feedback form (support page, optional)

The support page has a form to write to us. Only when you press Send, it sends us by e-mail: the name you typed (it does not have to be your real name), your message, your device type as your browser reports it (browser and system, so we can reproduce a bug) and the time. It goes through EmailJS, a service that delivers the message to our mailbox. We use it only to read and answer your message, and delete it on request. Nothing is sent from the game itself: the FEEDBACK button in the game only opens the support page.

Deleting your data

What the game stores is on your device, so you are always in control of it:

Apart from the world ranking of the web version and the messages you send us, we hold no copy of your data.

Google Play

If you install Injoker from Google Play, Google processes information about your download and device under its own privacy policy. We only receive the aggregated, anonymous statistics Google Play Console shows every developer (such as install counts and crash reports).

Children

Injoker is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

20 October 2026: added the website section (home page, trailer from YouTube on request, cookie-free visit statistics); the game moved to injoker.relifes.net/play.
13 October 2026: added the optional feedback form of the support page (a name you type, your message).
3 October 2026: added the optional world ranking of the web version (a name you type, your results).
1 October 2026: added the optional global leaderboards with Google Play Games (Android, from version 1.7.0). If Injoker ever adds other features that handle personal data, this policy will be updated before those features are released, and the date above will change.
